SA, DGP call on Governor

Imphal, July 29 2024: Security Advisor to Government of Manipur, Kuldiep Singh along with Director General of Police Rajiv Singh met with outgoing Governor Anusuiya Uikey today at Raj Bhavan in Imphal.

During the meeting, the Security Advisor and the DGP commended the Governor for her efforts in serving the people of Manipur and her initiatives to restore peace and normalcy in the State, said a statement of the PRO Raj Bhavan.

The Governor also commended the dedication shown by the officers in restoration of peace and normalcy in the State.

She encouraged the officers to continue their duties and take decisions in the best interest of the people of Manipur.

In a separate visit, MLA Thokchom Lokeshwar Singh also called on the outgoing Governor today at Raj Bhavan, and thanked her for her indomitable services rendered to the people of Manipur.

Appreciating her role as the Constitutional head of the State, Lokeshwar Singh said, the Governor's efforts towards restoring peace and normalcy in the State were paramount.

She visited different relief camps and extended support to the displaced people.

Her concern about the grievances and wellbeing of the displaced people are reflected in her work, he added.

The MLA wished Anusuiya Uikey a healthy and long life ahead.
