Imphal, January 20: Two PREPAK cadres identified as Nongthongbam Amujao (25) s/o N Jugindro of Kongba Ucheckon and Soibam Malemnganba (24) s/o late S Yaima of Yumnam Patlou were apprehended by Imphal West commandos from Paona Bazar near Blue Bell during a frisking exercise today at about 8 am, informed a press release issued by SP Imphal West Clay Khongsai.

Preliminary interrogation revealed that Amujao is a Rifleman (no 405157) in 4th IRB while Malemnganba is a chowkidar in Education Department.

They were assigned to collect money from Blue Bell shop and DK Steel shop under the command of one Nando of Yumnam Patlou, an active member of the PREPAK, added the release.
