Call for 7th CDG Memorial Competition for best film criticism 2026

Imphal, August 19 2026: The India Chapter of the International Federation of Film Critics, F�d�ration Internationale de la Presse Cin�matographique (FIPRESCI) is inviting applications for the 7th Chidananda Dasgupta Memorial Competition for Best Film Criticism 2026 .

The winner of the competition will be awarded Rs 5,000 and the runner-up will be awarded Rs 4,000 .

Besides the award winning entries, 'Certificate of Merit' will be given to the outstanding entries as per jury evaluation/ recommendation.

Entries winning the awards and certificate of merit will be published in 'E-Cine India' .

There will be no entry fee and the last date of submission is October 15.The result will be announced on November 20 .
