Panel discussion on 'Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery' conducted

A panel discussion on the book Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery was held today at the Court Hall of the Manipur University.
Dr RK Ranjan Singh, Minister of State for Education and External Affairs, Professor Ganga Prasad Prasain, Vice-Chancellor, Tripura University and Professor N Lokendra Singh, Vice Chancellor of Manipur University (MU) graced the panel discussion as the chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively, said a press release by PRO, MU.
Eight academic Deans and Dean of Students' Welfare of Manipur University were the panellists of the panel discussion programme.
Addressing the gathering, Dr RK Ranjan stressed on the dreams of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Nation in different aspects such as reformation, transformation and participation in Nation building.
He mentioned the policies of the Prime Minister in governance by emphasizing on maximum governance and minimum government for transformation of the system.
The Minister said that the Prime Minister has the idea of cooperative, competitive and federalism.
He also highlighted the view of removal of colonial ideas from the minds of the Indian youths.
He also appealed to the faculty members of the Manipur University to suggest new ideas about the growth and development of the nation.
Professor N Lokendra Singh stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a moderniser but not a westernizer.
He is a proponent of introducing new technologies.
Prime Minister has a wavelength of Indian electoral voters particularly women, he added.
