State BJP gears up for Seva Sankalp Abhiyan

Imphal, September 14 2026: BJP Manipur Pradesh is all set for a month-long campaign of Seva Sankalp Abhiyan which is being organised across the country from September 17 to October 17 to commemorate the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his service to the Nation, and promote public participation towards the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047 .

Speaking to media persons at Thambal Shanglen, Keishampat here today, BJP Manipur Pradesh president and Rajya Sabha Member A Sharda said that the month-long campaign will begin from September 17, the birthday of Narendra Modi.

She said that the celebration which will be held across the country will commemorate 25 years of Narendra Modi's service to the Nation, starting from the days he was serving as the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

During the campaign, several programmes like Ashirvad Ka Diya, blood donation camp, Angan Ka Milan, Seva Setu Abhiyan, Nation-wide drawing and speech competitions, Seva Jyoti Yatra and Visksit Bharat Sankalp will be held in different parts of the State, Sharda said.

Ashirvad Ka Diya or praying for Narendra Modi and blood donation camps will be held on September 17 .

Blood donation campaigns will be held at RIMS, American Oncology Institute Khabeisoi, Thoubal District Hospital, Bishnupur District Hospital and Shija Hospital, she said.

BJP workers will serve aged and destitute people from September 17 to October 7 .

More than 7000 Anganwadi workers and helpers will be felicitated between September 25 and October 7 under the programme Angan Ka Milan, the BJP Manipur Pradesh president said.

Drawing and speech competitions on the theme 'Viksit Bharat' will be held from September 17 to October 7 .

Torch rallies will be taken out at different places between September 17 and October 17 under the programme "Seva Jyoti Yatra", she said.

With a view to empower youth, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra will be taken out at 11 different places in the State, she said.
