Khemchand felicitates NCC cadets

Imphal, March 14 2026: Chief Minister Y Khemchand today felicitated NCC cadets from the State who took part in the Republic Day 2026 parade held at Kartavya Path, New Delhi.

The felicitation function organised by NCC Group Headquarters, Imphal at DM College campus was graced by Chief Minister Y Khemchand, Thangmeiband AC MLA Kh Joykisan and DM University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Chandbabu as chief guest and guests of honour respectively.

Group Commander Brigadier Vikrant Kulkarni presided over the function.

Speaking at the gathering after inspecting a guard of honour given by NCC cadets, Y Khemchand asserted that the Government is committed to creating a healthy atmosphere where the youth can thrive in different fields.

The Chief Minister stated that he is proud of the achievements of NCC cadets from Manipur at different National-level events.

Brigadier Vikrant Kulkarni said that NCC is a big defence platform of the country and all the NCC cadets from Manipur are highly talented.

The seven NCC cadets who were felicitated today were Cadet Senior Under Officer (CSUO) Swaty Laishram, Cadet under officer (CUO) Konsam Moramba Meitei, (CUO) Ningthoujam Pinky Devi, Senior Under Officer (SUO) Leitanthem Chanchan Devi, (SUO) Rojita Waikhom, Cadet Stephen Samu Sampar and Cadet P Silvester.

The CM felicitated the NCC cadets with cash awards and gifts.
