NPP Kakching unit seeks public support to development projects

NPP Kakching Unit vice president Naorem Gopal has urged for public support to development works being taken in Kakching under local MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar.
Speaking to media persons at the residence of NPP Kakching Unit president Sh Shyamjai at Kakching Wairi Konggoi Pareng today, Gopal listed projects being taken up in Kakching.
He said the MLA has completed various development projects and improved road infrastructure in Kakching.
He said 5 roads in Wairi and many others in different areas of Kakching have been constructed using paver blocks.
Additionally, 4 roads in Wairi have been blacktopped and a community hall has been constructed at Wairi Ningthou Pareng.
Further work is being done to improve the road from Kha Manipur College to Khongnang Mari Phangba.
While the work for Kha Manipur College-Kamala Pareng section is expected to be completed by May 5, a proposal has been sent to the Government's authorities concerned to include the remaining section in the work programme.
In the meantime, work to temporarily repair the road is on, said Gopal.
Under the local MLA, as many as 20 roads have been constructed using paver blocks and 11 others have been blacktopped.
A road in Pallel has been constructed using plain cement concrete and Ibudhou Irum Ningthou Laibung at Irengband has been renovated using paver blocks, Gopal said.
Further a new pipeline has been laid for Irengband water supply and two community halls have been constructed, he said, seeking cooperation of the public in completing the projects.
