Dignitaries exhort youth to be agent of change at MKS cultural regale

Different guests on the second day of the ongoing 42nd General conference of the Maram Students Union (MKS), hosted by the Maram Bazar Youth & students Organization exhorted the youth to be the agent of change to transform a society at its Cultural Regale session.
The program was graced by S Lunguiba Thangal, MCS, SDO/BDO, Purul and Koshoni Phimu, deputy secretary, Govt of Manipur as the guests of honour and RN Hannah, president, Senapati District Women's Association (SDWA) as special guest respectively.
In her greetings, RN Hannah, president, Senapati District Women's Association stressed on the need to unite and work together to transform the Maram community.
The women president urged the gathering to resolve the struggle and work towards building the tribe through such gatherings.
She also appealed to the students community to strive for excellence and contribute to the society by becoming successful people.
Guest of honour Koshoni Phimu in her speech urged the youth to plan for one's life and manage the time to be successful in future.
She also urged the students to plan for their future career and not to distract from smart phones but to use technology wisely.
Appealing to the youths to teach and guide younger generations she urged the youth to encourage the talented ones in any field in order to see a transformed society.
SDO Lunguiba Thangal in his speech encouraged the youth to get to know each other, interact with each other and share each other's experiences, share views while attending such conferences.
While terming the youth as the most precious treasure and resource of the society, the SDO urged the youth to be agents of change to transform a society as the society depends on the youth to bring transformation.
He encouraged the youth to realise oneself of how one is.
He also stressed on the need for gender equality even in social platforms for a transformed society.
As part of the event, various cultural programmes by different groups were showcased.
