Imphal, October 09 2025: The prize distribution ceremony of the 1st State Level Kangleipak(Manipur) History Competition organised by Kangleipak Students Association (KSA) was held today at the Department of Earth Science, Manipur University, Canchipur.

The ceremony was graced by KSA advisor Sanjit Soraisam, KSA vice president Seram Hemjit, IPSA advisor Tourangbam Birjit and.

Manipur Millennium Foundation administrator M Binod Meitei as presidium members.

The competition was conducted in three categories- Category A (Class VII-VIII), Category B (Class IX-X), and Category C (Class X-XII), on the theme, "Explore the History of Kangleipak (Manipur)" .

In Category A, Takhellambam Viyas of Sacred Heart Hr Sec School, Bherickson Yendrembam of Victory High School and Thoinaobi Elangbam of BM School of Excellent Learning won 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions respectively.

In Category B, Sagolsem Abhinash Singh of Ramkrishna Mission School, Tekcham Joyshree Devi and Roshan Khundrakpam of KM Blooming Hr Sec School won 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions respectively.

In Category C, Sougrakpam Leita Chanu of TG Hr Sec School, Rajkumari Olivia Devi of Herbert School and Chirom Tondon of TG Hr Sec School won 1 st, 2nd & 3rd positions respectively.

Winners of the competition were awarded cash prizes along with certificates.
