Imphal, February 08:
The killing of MD Talibur Rahman has been strongly condemned by Threatened Indigenous People's Society.
"Every step taken up by the JAC formed in connection with the killing of Rahman and other related activities would be promptly joined and supported by this society", said a release issued by general secretary of TIPS Asemcha Tondon.
While claiming the society's stand for right to life, the release maintained that killing of even an accused person could never be justified as it is a violation of right to life.
Meanwhile the society is set to organise human rights awareness cum social service camp in different places in the State, it added.
