MEELAL Assam lists out future activities

Jiribam, June 04 2024: Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasilon Apunba Lup (MEELAL) Assam branch convened a meeting today to discuss the future activities for the promotion of Meetei Mayek.

A number of resolutions were taken during the meeting which include opening of various branches in district, subdivision, block and village level under the aegis of MEELAL Assam Central Committee and to organise Meetei Mayek awareness drive across the district.

Further it was resolved that prior permission should be taken from MEELAL Assam for opening learning centres for the Meetei Mayek Diploma Course.

The MEELAL Assam Central Committee also appealed to all to use Meetei Mayek in books, banners, invitations etc for promotion of Meetei Mayek on a larger scale.

Today's meeting was also attended by members of MEELAL Assam Central Committee and Cachar branch.
