Imphal, March 04 2025: The Federation of Civil Society Organizations (FOCS) is holding a series of rallies for bringing peace to Manipur from March 8 .

FOCS president Th Manihar made this announcement at its office near Imphal War Cemetery today.

The rallies for peace in Manipur are expected to reach all vulnerable villages which have been kept off-limit to civilians by security forces.

However, no final decision on the destinations of the rallies and its finer details has been taken yet, he said.

FOCS is in contact with communities of the expected places of destination and the details are being planned.

The rallies will incorporate traditional rituals of the destination places and meetings to sensitise people on the situation in Manipur.

Committees for the rallies have been formed.

The success of the rallies depend on the cooperation of the public, Manihar said, urging people for support.
