Imphal, April 01: In continuation of the canine vaccination campaign, a free anti-rabies vaccination programme was organised today by District Veterinary Office, Imphal West under the aegis of its Joint Director at different places, informed a press issued by the Joint Director.

The vaccination programme covered United Public Development Club of Tairenpokpi, Moidangpok Rising Star Union, Social Youth Organisation of Sanjenbam, Hiyangthang, Mayang Langjing and Paona Memorial Club of Takyel Khongbal, mentioned the release.

Altogether 400 canines were administered ARVs, it said.

Under the same office, vaccination of pet dogs against rabies was conducted by United Rural Development Organisation (URDO) of Sekmaijin to Khordak Ichil from March 28 to 30 at Sekmaijin, Thongam, Phoubakchao, Chakadaba, Komlakhong, Konuma, Hiyangkhong, Laphupat Tera and Khordak Ichil, informed URDO.
