Anurag Bajpai, others call on Governor

Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF) & Head of Forest Force, Manipur, Anurag Bajpai called on Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya at Raj Bhavan, Imphal this evening and informed about the present status of forest areas in the State.
According to a release issued by PRO Raj Bhavan, the PCCF informed the Governor about various ongoing initiatives of the department for the conservation of forest.
The Governor appreciated his efforts and instructed to continue in the best interest of the conservation of forest and natural environment.
Officials of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Manipur, also called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan in Imphal today and apprised him about the various humanitarian assistance extended to the people in the State.

The Governor directed the officials to submit a detailed report about their works and issues faced by them.
Dr G Sunil Kumar Sharma, Director, RIMS, Imphal also called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan and invited him to attend the 53rd Foundation Day celebration of the Institute which is scheduled to be held on September 14, 2024 .
Similarly, M Rameshwar Singh, MLA, Kakching A/C, also called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan, Imphal this evening.
Representatives of all Manipur Telli Association led by its general secretary, Ashok Prasad Sahu also met the Governor today at Raj Bhavan.
Meanwhile, the Governor visited the Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA) in Imphal today evening and interacted with officers, gurus, artists and students of the Academy.
At the event, the Governor witnessed a cultural show which was performed by the students of the Academy.
