KRA(U) clarifies on office-bearers

Imphal, July 26: The armed group Kuki Revolutionary Army (Unification) has clarified that its central committee meeting held on July 20 has elected Solomon Chongloi as president and W Lincon as general secretary.

A press release issued KRA (U) publicity secretary Lenin CH further informed that among 14 other functionaries, Hills Kh was elected finance secretary, Polash project officer, Lenin Ch publicity secretary, Maichel highway commander, Lalboi as the Imphal East district commander, Mangboi as Imphal West district commander, Letmang (Boy) as Thoubal district commander and Thangboi as the Bishnupur district commander.

Saying that demand notes served by these functionaries served earlier without party seal will be valid till August 15, it stated all demand notes served after August 15 in the name of finance secretary, deputy finance secretary, project officer, highway commander and Dimapur town commander will be accompanied by party's seal.

It further appealed to the public to contact general secretary W Lincon through mobile phone number 9436688199 in case any demand note without party's seal is found served.
