Imphal, September 24 2026: As part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2026, a social service camp was organised at Jubilee Hall, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal today to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the No Single-Use Plastic Campaign.

The programme aimed to raise awareness on harmful effects of single-use plastics and promote eco-friendly practices for a cleaner and sustainable environment.

The programme was attended by Director Prof G Sunil Kumar Sharma, Medical Superintendent Prof N Sanjib Singh and Nodal Officer, SAP/Kaya Kalp 2026-27 Prof Y Govindaraj.

A roadside cleanliness drive was carried out from Pediatrics Emergency Gate No 3 to RIMS Main Gate, with participants removing plastic and other waste.

CRED and MSS personnel, faculty, staff and students took part enthusiastically.
