KVKs across State launches Kisan Mela

In connection with the release of the 19th installment of the PM-KISAN Scheme by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bihar, Bhagalpur, KVKs across the State launched Kisan Mela today.
THOUBAL
In Thoubal, the release of the 19th installment of PM-Kisan Scheme was participated by officials of KVK Thoubal through webcast.
In connection with the release of the PM-Kisan Scheme , a "Kisan Mela" was also organised by KVK Thoubal, showcasing various organic and natural farming products of KVK Thoubal Complex.
The event was attended by Khangabok Part I ward no 6, ward member, N Kabita Devi, Dept of Agriculture, Govt of Manipur, Deputy Director, AK Chitaranjan and The Joyprakash as presidium members.
As part of the event, a technical session on the 19th installment was conducted and the GI tag product of Manipur "Chakhao" of Kakching district "One District One Product" under KVK Thoubal was also displayed during the mela.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Director, AK Chitaranjan said that the 19th installment fund of PM-KISAN Scheme released today by PM Modi is a 100% subsidy scheme to the farmers of the State as financial support to 85000 beneficiaries of the State.
CHANDEL
The release of 19th Installment of PM-KISAN scheme webcast was conducted at ICAR-KVK Chandel today.
The programme was attended by Dr A Ameeta Devi, Sr Scientist & Head, ICAR-KVK Chandel; Naorem Rabikumar Singh, AO, Horticulture Department, Chandel and Chandani Tarao, AO, Agriculture Department, Chandel as presidium members.
Prior to the webcast, Dr A Ameeta Devi informed the farmers that the PM-KISAN scheme was launched with the aim to supplement the financial needs of landholding farmers by providing an annual benefit of Rs 6000, distributed in three equal installments of Rs 2000 every four months.
She expressed her hope that this financial assistance would significantly aid the farmers in meeting their essential needs and improving their livelihoods.
In coinciding with the event, an exhibition was also organised by the farmers displaying natural farming and organic farming products.
The programme was attended by 94 farmers.
CHURACHANDPUR
In connection with the releasing of 19th installment of PM-KISAN Scheme in Bihar, Bhagalpur, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Churachandpur conducted a three-days District Level Farmers Fair, 2025 cum Farmers Scientist Interaction programme on the theme "Empowering Farmers Through Natural and Organic Farming Innovation" at KVK Churachandpur Complex.
The event was inaugurated by Churachandpur District, Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Th Mangmithang Gangte in the presence of BSF, STC Churachandpur, Assistant Commandant, Amit Kawatra, KVK Churachandpur, Senior Scientist cum Head, Dr Manoj Pandey, scientist of KVK, staff and farmers of the district.
As part of the event, a newly constructed Integrated Duck cum Fish Farm built at the Demonstration Farm of KVK Churachandpur was also inaugurated.
