Bpr/Ccp/Kak/Kjm/Kpi/Phz/Spi/Tbl/Ukl, December 23 2022: As part of the nationwide campaign "Good Governance Week- Sushasan Saptah", workshops on Good Governance Practices was organised across the State on Friday to promote citizen centric Governance and facilitate service delivery.

BISHNUPUR
District Administration, Bishnupur today organised a workshop on Good Governance Practices at the Conference Hall of DC Office in Bishnupur.

Speaking on the occasion, Norbert Disinang, former Deputy Commissioner of Bishnupur recalled the challenging and turbulent times during his stint as DC of the district.

He stated that good governance is all about devoting time to the people at all times and meeting their needs at the right place & time.

He continued that democracy cannot thrive in the midst of injustice where the deserving and needy are deprived while the affluent enjoy everything.

DC Bishnupur, Lourembam Bikram stressed on the importance of people's participation right from the planning phase and added that imposing decisions on the public is pass�.

Renuka Khumukcham, SDO Nambol; Ejaj Hasssan, AC to DC and Dr L Raichandra Singh also spoke on the occasion.

Short video clips produced by the district administration were also screened during the workshop.

CHURACHANDPUR
District Administration, Churachandpur today organised a District Level Dissemination Workshop at DC's Conference Hall, Mini-Secretariat, Tuibong as a part of Good Governance Week, 2022 .

It was attended by DC Churachandpur, Sharath Chandra Arroju; ADC/CCpur, Thienlaljoy Gangte; ADC/Mualnuam, Khaikhopau Ngaihte and Lunminthang Haokip, former DC of the district.

During the event, the participants were sensitized on various good governance perimeters such as effectiveness & efficiency; responsiveness; participatory, accountability, transparency, equitability and inclusiveness through presentations by different departments.

KAKCHING
District Administration Kakching also organised a workshop on Good Governance Practices/Initiatives at DC Office Complex, Kakching.

It was attended by S Kunjabihari Singh, retired IAS officer; Chief Medical Officer Kakching, Dr Th Rajen; Y Achouba Singh, Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Kakching; DLOs, official & staff of DC office and staff of SDO, SDC Kakching.

Various initiatives taken in Kakching district during the last five years were highlighted during the event.

KAMJONG
District Administration Kamjong also organised a workshop on Good Governance Practices/Initiatives at Kamjong DC Camp Office.

DC Kamjong, Rangnamei Rang Peter; Superintendent of Police, Polem Manjit; CEO, SDOs and all the DLOs of the district attended the programme.

During the event, powerpoint presentations highlighting various services, achievements and comparative analysis in the recent years were presented by PHED Kamjong, CMO Kamjong and One Stop Centre (OSC), Kamjong.

Executive Engineer (EE) of PHED Kamjong, Chamdanlung; CMO, Dr Lucy Duidang and OSC co-ordinator, Chanchuila also spoke on the occasion.

A short film based on the activities of OSC Kamjong was also screened as a part of the workshop.

KANGPOKPI
District Administration Kangpokpi also organised a workshop on Good Governance at the Multi-Purpose Hall, DC Office Complex.

It was attended by DC Kangpokpi, Kengoo Zuringla; James Doujapao Haokip, CEO, SH-ADC; and Thanglalsam, DGM, MSPDCL among others.

As part of the event, powerpoint presentations were presented on Good Governance by various departments of the district.

PHERZAWL
District Administration Pherzawl also organised a District Level Dissemination Workshop at its Camp Office in Tuibong.

DC Pherzawl, Haulianlal Guite; SP, A Ghanashyam Sharma; ADC, Ch Sachi; SDO Tipaimukh, I Dineshkumar and other DLOs of the district attended the event.

As part of the event, various Good Governance Initiatives were highlighted by the Forest Department, Health, Education, DRDA and Revenue.

SENAPATI
District Administration Senapati also organised a workshop on Good Governance as part of Sushasan Saptah at DRDA Hall, Senapati.

It was attended by Mahesh Chaudhari, DC Senapati; SDOs, DLOs and Anganwadi workers.

During the workshop, various department of the district also presented powerpoint presentations of their ongoing projects and developmental works including "VDVK & it's economic benefits", "On Mobile Clinic initiative", "School Fagathansi Mission", "e- district" and "Amrit Sarovar" .

THOUBAL
District Administration Thoubal also organised a workshop on Good Governance at the Counting Hall of DC Office Thoubal.

It was attended by DC Thoubal, A Subhash Singh; SP Thoubal, Jogeshchandra Haobijam; and Kangjam Radhakumar Singh, retired IAS officer among others.

Short films based on the activities carried during the last 5 years were also screened as a part of the workshop.

UKHRUL
Ukhrul District Administration also organised a workshop on Good Governance at DRDA Training hall, Mini Secretariat office complex Hamleikhong, Ukhrul.

DC Ukhrul, Krishna Kumar attended the event as the chief guest.

During the event, CMO Ukhrul informed that over 31,774 CHMT cards have been verified, out of which 2029 patients have been treated in Ukhrul and other hospital of Manipur.

SDOs of Ukhrul district, Maibam Suranjoy, Rohini, Mangmilian, police officers, DLOs, staff and CSO leaders also took part in the workshop.
