Shiv Sena, others wish people on Ningol Chakkouba

Imphal, October 22 2025: Shiv Sena Manipur Pradesh and many other organisations have greeted the people of the State on the eve of Ningol Chakkouba.

In its message to the people, the Shiv Sena Manipur Pradesh wished the people a joyous Ningol Chakkouba festival.

It wished the festival to strengthen the bond of love between sisters and brothers, and bring about peace, harmony and prosperity.

The Manipur Peoples' Democratic Front also greeted the people, especially Ningols on the occasion.

MPDF wished Ningols good health and prosperity.

It also wished for the festival to strengthen bond between brothers and sisters and their parents.

The Samata Party Manipur State Committee greeted the people and wished for the Ningol Chakkouba to bring peace, prosperity and bless all Ningols.

The Pangal Students Organisation (PSO) Manipur too greeted the people and wished for the Ningol Chakkouba festival to bring prosperity and foster peace in the State.

The Meitei Laikol Panthou has also extended his greetings to the people, especially womenfolk on Ningol Chakkouba.

Wishing good health and prosperity, Panthou said the people should celebrate the festival in a meaningful way and refrain from spending money extravagantly on gifts.

He urged people to buy products made in Manipur, and celebrate the festival in its true spirit.

Ningol Chakkouba is celebrated on 2nd day of Meitei lunar month Hiyangei.

The festival falls on October 23 .
