Committee hosts 7th ABFANIM award distribution ceremony

Thoubal, June 22 2025: The award distribution ceremony of the 7th Akoijam Bhubon Family Ningshing Mana (ABFANIM) was held today at Sai Mandir, Thoubal Wangmataba hosted by the ABFANIM Organising Committee.

The annual award honours Class X students within the jurisdiction of Thoubal Municipal Council (TMC) who gave exemplary performance in the matric examination.

The award distribution ceremony was graced by retd CMO Dr Ksh Manglem as the chief guest; retd ZEO, Zone-III Thoubal Ak Norendra as the functional president and Dr Th Khomdon, retd Librarian, MU as the guest of honour.

During event, S Bhudhimati Mangang from Thoubal Achouba Makha was conferred with Ak Bhubon Ningshing Mana which comes with a certificate and Rs 7000 cash prize; Okram Goldson from Thoubal Okram Makha Leikai received the Ak (O) Ibecha Ningshing Mana (certificate and Rs 6000); Ph Golson Shanna from Thoubal Ningombam received the Ak Lilabati Ningshing Mana (certificate and Rs 5000); Ningombam Jaleswor from Thoubal Ningombam Utha Leirak bagged the Ak Biren Ningshing Mana (certificate and Rs 5000); Lanchenba Nongthombam from Thoubal Sabantongba received the Ak (O) Binodini Ningshing Mana (certificate and Rs 5000) and Chingtham Jolty Devi from Thoubal Athokpam Makha was conferred with Ak Ongbi Manglembi Ningsing Mana (certificate and Rs 5000).Notably, this year students of Evergreen Flower School, Thoubal Ningombam bagged all six awards.

Organising Committee member retd Wing Commander Ak Debendra said that the awards were given to selected meritorious students from 18 wards under TMC who applied for ABFANIM .
