T Minou Village Authority refutes

Thangbung Minou (T Minou) Village Authority Chandel district has refuted the claim of the Hill Tribal Council Moreh that 'Motha Village is the homeland of the Kuki-Zo people' thereby terming the claim as baseless and uncalled for.
With regards to the 'baseless claim' of the Hill Tribal Council Moreh, the Chief of T Minou Village in a press note said, 'The Hill Tribal Council Moreh does not know the actual history and background of the land and people living in that area' .
Furthermore, Motha Village's name is not born in the eye of law and in any records, said the note.
It may be noted that the Department of Information & Publicity, Hill Tribal Council, Moreh quoted "Motha Village which is the Homeland of the Kuki-Zo people prior to any other human settlement even before the arrival of India and Burma" in a press statement no 11/HTC-CEC/2024 dated 17/06/2024 .
The Chief of T Minou Village appealed to the Deputy Commissioner Tengnoupal, ADC Tengnoupal, SDO Moreh to note for record that,'The area of land in question, bordering the Indo-Myanmar International Border Pillar Nos Part of 73, full of 74, 75 and 76 is the real and actual land of Thangbung Minou (T Mino) Anal Community/Tribe which is under Naga nomenclature by blood from time immemorial.
The said land was never owned or possessed by the non-Naga group since the beginning of human settlement, the Chief said.
