Promotional event for International Film Festival of India, 2024 held

Imphal, October 21 2024:
A promotional event for the International Film Festival of India, 2024 to be held at Goa from November 20 to 28, 2024, special focus on 1st time feature film directors and Creative Minds of Tomorrow (CMOT) was held at Wangkhei Yonglan Leirak, Imphal East today.
The event was organised by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Regional Office, Imphal, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India as part of its Integrated Communication & Outreach Programme (ICOP).
It was graced by Dr Engam Pame, Director, CBC, Regional Office, Imphal and Sunzu Bachaspatimayum, Secretary, Manipur State Film Development Society as the president & special guest respectively.
Alexander Leo Pou, Director, Manipur State Film & Television Institute also attended the function as the moderator.
As part of the event, a panel discussion with 1st time feature film directors namely Bijou Thaangjam and Co-Director Meena Longjam for 'Midnight After Dawn'; Tolom Karam, director for 'Ayingba Meiree'; Binoranjan Oinam, director for 'Langdai Ama'(the juncture); Kachangthai Gonmei, director for 'Puinaa Puidaa'(Stepmother) and Abul Basar for cinematography & editing for the film 'Eigisu Oida, nanggisu natta' under Creative Minds of Tomorrow was held.
The trailers and teasers of the said feature films were also screened.
A theme-based song on the International Film Festival of India, 2024 was also presented by the departmental troupes of CBC, RO, Imphal.
Lead role actors and other cast members also attended the function.
