Imphal, March 21 2025: A State Level Festival of "Manipuri Folk Dance" was held today at the auditorium of Sangeet Kala Sangam in Khurai Lamlong Bazar.

The festival was organised by Sangeet Kala Sangam in the memory of Late Guru Chingangbam Kulabidhu Singh.

It was conducted under the aegis of the Cultural Function and Production Grant Scheme, Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

The event was graced by Arambam Tombinou Devi, former Pradhan Guru of JN Manipur Dance Academy; Budha Chingtham, Member, Board of Governors, EZCC, Kolkata, Ministry of Culture and N Babuton Singh, president of Sangeet Kala Sangam as presidium members.

Offering of floral tributes to a photograph of Late Guru Chingangbam Kullabidhu and Manipuri Folk Dance performances by artists of different cultural institutes were the main highlights of the event.
