E-office training

Imphal, April 19 2022:
The Police Department held an E-office training programme at the Banquet Hall of 1st Battalion MR in the presence of 146 nodal and administrative officers from all the districts, battalions and units, today.
In his introductory address, IGP IK Muivah said that e-file replacing paper files is an inevitable transition which should be adopted sooner than later.
Initially, the e-file link will be sent from districts, Battalions and other units headquarters to the police headquarters and then extended to the police station level also.

IGP Muivah emphasized on the many advantages of e-file such as instant movement of files, easy tracking of progress, quick search facility, ability to access e-files when travelling and quicker delivery of service.
Joint Director Robert Sharma with other staff of the IT Department conducted the intensive one day workshop which will be continued by IT staff in different districts.
