Custody for Mark Haokip

Mark Thangmang Haokip, the self-proclaimed president of the "Government of People's Democratic Republic of Kukiland," has been sent back to judicial custody till April 30 days after being granted bail.
The custody is related to a case filed against him for allegedly posting derogatory comments about Rani Gaidinliu on his Facebook and Twitter accounts on November 23, 2021 .
According to a well placed source, Mark Thangmang Haokip (40) of Molnom Village in Churachandpur was produced before the Court of JMFC Imphal West by Imphal police yesterday with a prayer to send him to judicial custody which the Court approved.
It may be mentioned that Mark Thangmang Haokip who is allegedly involved in a conspiracy for secession from India and waging or attempting or abetting to wage war against the Government of India was granted bail by the Court of Special Judge, NIA Imphal West on April 15 .
The bail application was filed by his wife Lhainikim Lhouvum alias Kikim.
