Tamenglong, October 16 2025: The Jadonang Memorial College (JMC) successfully concluded its first College Week under the theme "Towards a Better Future -Celebrating Talent, Unity, and Growth," with a vibrant closing ceremony held on Wednesday.

The week-long celebration came to a close with a lively blend of literary and cultural programmes, followed by a prize distribution ceremony that honored outstanding student performances in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities.

The event was graced by Lanphulung Kamei, Governing Body member, who attended as the chief guest.

In his address, he congratulated the college community for the successful conduct of the event and emphasized the importance of fostering talent, unity, and growth among students.

Cultural performances, including soulful songs and traditional dances, added color and energy to the closing evening.

Dr Rimmei Longmei, principal of JMC, joined the chief guest in presenting awards, certificates, and the coveted champion cups to deserving students and teams.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Sports Secretary of JMCSU, who acknowledged the collective effort of the students, faculty, and organizing committee in making the College Week a success.
