Speaking on the occasion, KCP/MFL chief of army staff H Ibomcha alleged that the Government of India has been supplying all kinds of intoxicating substances to the Manipuri youth as a part of their efforts to suppress the liberation movement.
Many youth are dying on a daily basis because of drug addiction.
At the same time, the fertility rate of Manipur has been declining.
These are not positive indications, he said.
Ibomcha alleged that the Government of India followed similar drug policies in other States like Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir and WESEA which challenged India's domination.
He said that all revolutionary organisations of WESEA must take up concrete and effective measures to counter the alleged drug policy of India and save the youth from the jaws of drugs.
The 22nd raising day of MFL was also celebrated at the Hirachandra Force Company, said a press release issued by the outfit's media coordinator A Luwangba Meetei.
