Imphal, August 13 2026: Deputy Chief Minister Losii Dikho has greeted the people of Manipur on the Patriots' Day today.

"As the State observes Patriots' Day, I extend my heartfelt greetings to the people of Manipur and pay my sincere tribute to the brave patriots who made the supreme sacrifice to safeguard sovereignty of the State.

"Their courage and patriotism will always be remembered in our history and serve as an example for generations to come.

Patriots' Day reminds us of the sacrifices made by our forefathers and inspires us to uphold the values of unity, dignity, peace and justice for which they stood.

"Let us honour their legacy by working together for a peaceful and harmonious Manipur, with mutual respect and understanding among all communities," said Losii Dikho in his message to the people.
