Bust of CRPF martyrs unveiled

In commemoration of the supreme sacrifice made by Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF) martyrs while performing their duties, busts of three CRPF martyrs were unveiled at different locations in Bishnupur district today.
The martyrs' bust unveiling ceremony was organized by 32 Battalion CRPF under the aegis of Manipur and Nagaland Sector.
The bust of Shaheed Md Abash Khan was unveiled at Anita Standard High School, Kwakta under the supervision of 32 Bn CRPF Loktak Commandant H Ranjit Singh while the bust of Shaheed Konjengbam Noren Singh was unveiled at Okshongbung Upper Primary School at Moirang Okshongbung Leikai and the bust of Shaheed Dangmei Stephen was unveiled at Gracy Christian English School, Loktak Project.
The unveiling ceremony held at the respective schools attended by the martyrs was also joined by high ranking officials of 32 Bn CRPF Loktak Project and family members of the martyrs along with the school students.
It is worth noting that Shaheed Konjengbam Noren Singh was a native of Moirang Panshang Leikai and was posted at 67 Bn CRPF.
He died while performing his assigned duty on December 9, 1995.Shaheed Md Abash Khan, was posted at 28 Bn CRPF and a native of Kwakta Maronglou got killed on November 1, 2004 while Shaheed Dangmei Stephen passed away at West Bengal during an operation carried out by 184 Bn CRPF on September 24, 2010 .
