Patra, Gopchade meet MLAs at CCpur

Imphal, September 11 2025: BJP North East Coordinator Sambit Patra and BJP Manipur in-charge Dr Ajit Gopchade today went to Churachandpur and made a direct assessment of the preparations being made there for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit on September 13 .

The duo also talked with Kuki-Zo MLAs and officials of Churachandpur district administration.

Sambit Patra and Dr Ajit Gopchade who are also members of the Rajya Sabha landed at Imphal on Wednesday.

Soon after arriving at Imphal, they held a meeting with BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda, BJP MLAs and office bearers of BJP Manipur Pradesh at the Thambal Shanglen here.

Later in the evening, Sambit Patra and Dr Ajit Gopchade held another meeting with NPP and NPF MLAs at Hotel Imphal.

They travelled to Churachandpur by road today and talked with Kuki-Zo MLAs, Churachandpur Deputy Commissioner and the Superintendent of Police.

Sources said that Dr Sambit Patra and Dr Ajit Gopchade are here to see that public rallies which would be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Churachandpur and Imphal are participated by the public in good numbers and the rallies go off smoothly.

After coming back to Imphal from Churachandpur, Sambit Patra and Dr Ajit Gopchade visited some BJP ex-Minis-ters and ex-office bearers.
