Workshop on "Modern tools and techniques in Biological Sciences" concludes

Imphal, March 09 2025: A 7-Day National Level Hands on Training cum Workshop on "Modern Tools and Techniques in Biological Sciences" concluded today at the premises of the Department of Life Sciences (Botany), Manipur University. The workshop was organised by the Department of Life Sciences (Botany) in collaboration with DBT-Builder, Manipur University.

The valedictory function was graced by Prof Kananbal Sarangthem, Head, Department of Life Sciences (Botany), MU; Prof Th Binoy Singh, Head, Department of Life Sciences (Zoology), MU; and Prof GA Shantibala, coordinator, DBT-Builder, MU as presidium members.

During the seven days workshop, Prof Rakhi Chaturvedi, Department of Biosciences & Bioengineering (BSBE), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati; Dr M Druba Singh, Scientist-IV, National Brain Research Center, Gurgoan; Dr Raghumani Singh Ningthoujam, FNAS, Scientist Officer G, Chemistry Division, BARC, Mumbai; Dr Rakesh Moirangthem, Associate Prof, Department of Physics, MU; Dr Naorem Shanta, Project Scientist, DBT-Builder, MU; Dr H Birkumar Singh, Chief Scientist, CSIR-NEIST, Lamphelpat and Prof Yengkhom Tunginba Singh, Department of Life Sciences (Botany) attended as resource persons and shared their insight on various topics.

Research scholars and teachers from different colleges, universities also participated in the workshop.
