Traffic regulations for Feb 6 issued

Imphal, February 04 2016: In order to ensure smooth traffic movement during the mass rally organised by AMUCO, UCM and CCSK on February 6, the Home Department has issued traffic regulations on the said day.

As per an order issued by DIG (Range 1), diversion and parking areas for normal vehicles/passenger buses/other commercial vehicles will be :
i) All employees of offices/schools located within the sensitized area shall be allowed to cross the cut-points after confirming their identity.

All are requested to carry their respective valid identity cards.

ii) Vehicles coming from Thoubal side shall be diverted from Singjamei Bazar towards Kongba road and Wangkhei side via Singjamei bridge and park at Andro Parking.

iii) Vehicles coming from Mayang Imphal side shall be diverted at Khagempalli crossing and Kwakeithel bazar towards Lamphel bus parking via Tera Bazar, Naoremthong, Uripok Canteen Leirak to Lamphel Sanakeithel and parked there.

On their return journey, the vehicles shall follow the same route.

iv) Vehicles coming from Tiddim side shall be diverted from Kwakeithel via Tera Bazar, Sagolband road towards the Jiri parking area.

On their return journey, the vehicles shall follow the same route.

v) Vehicles coming from Sagolband road shall be parked near Jiri parking area, vi) Vehicles coming from Uripok Kangchup road shall be parked near JAS Petrol Pump, Uripok/Cosmo Dental Clinic area.

On their return journey, the vehicles shall follow the same route .

vii) The vehicles coming from Sekmai shall be diverted at Khongnang Ani Karak towards Inter State Bus Terminus and park at Pandon road.

viii) The vehicles coming from Pangei side shall park in front of Lamlong High School.

ix) The vehicles coming from Ukhrul and Sawombung side shall be parked at northern side of Lamlong Bazar.

x) The vehicles coming from Tinsid Road shall be parked at Northern side of Tinsid Road at Lamlong Bazar.

xi) The vehicles coming from Yairipok and Andro sides shall be parked at Andro parking.

(B) Parking for vehicles and buses carrying people to attend the rally on February 6: i) All vehicles coming either from Ayangpalli road, Yairipok road (Ngariyan road) shall be diverted at Kongba crossing towards Singjamei bridge.

ii) One way traffic system shall he enforced along Loklaobung bridge and Thumbuthong.

Vehicles shall be allowed to ply only from west to east i.e.from NH-2 towards Thangapat.

iii) All vehicles coming from Thoubal side ferrying people to attend the function shall be diverted towards Singjamei bridge � Kongba road, Wangkhei and towards New Checkon road to reach Lamlong bridge and proceed toward Lilashing Khongnang-khong.

After dropping, the vehicles will proceed toward Dingku road and parked on the parking slot in front of Indoor Stadium via northern gate of Khuman Lampak.

Dropping area:- Lilashing Khongnangkhong.

Parking area:- In front of Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak.

iv) The vehicles coming from Mayang Imphal side shall be diverted at Khagempalli crossing and Kwakeithel bazar towards Lamphel bus parking via Tera Bazar, Naoremthong, Uripok Canteen Leirak to Lamphel Sanakeithel and proceed toward Watham Leirak.

After dropping, the vehicles will proceed toward Dingku road and park on the southern side of Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium via northern gate.

Dropping area:- Watham Leirak.

Parking area:- Southern side of Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium.

v) The vehicles coming from Tiddim road side shall be diverted at Kwakeithel Bazar crossing towards Lamphel bus parking via Tera bazar, Naoremthong, Uripok Canteen Leirak to Lamphel Sanakeithel and proceed toward Watham Leirak.

After dropping, the vehicles will proceed toward Dingku road and park on the southern side of Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium via northern gate,
Dropping area : Watham Leirak.

Parking area : Southern side of Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium.

All vehicles coming from New Cachhar road shall be diverted at Tera bazar, Naoremthong, Uripok Canteen Leirak to Lamphel Sanakeithel and proceed toward Watham Leirak.

After dropping, the vehicles will proceed toward Dingku road and park on the southern side of Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium via northern gate.

Dropping area : Watham Leirak.

Parking area : Southern side of Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium .

The vehicles coming from Uripok � Kangchup road shall be diverted at Uripok Canteen Leirak to Lamphel Sanakeithel and proceed toward Watham Leirak after dropping.

The vehicles will proceed toward Dingku road and park on the southern side of Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium via northern gate.

Dropping area : Watham Leirak.

Parking area : Southern side of Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium.

The vehicles coming from Sekmai side shall proceed toward Lilashing Khongnangkhong.

After dropping the vehicles will proceed toward Dingku road and park on the northern side of the main stadium near cricket practice ground via northern gate.

Dropping area : Lilashing Khongnangkhong .

Parking area: Northern side of the main stadium near cricket practice ground.

The vehicles coming from Pangei side shall proceed toward Lilashing Khongnang- khong.

After dropping, the vehicles will proceed toward Dingku road and park on the northern side of the main stadium near cricket practice ground via northern gate.

Dropping area : Lilashing Khongnangkhong.

Parking area : Northern side of the main stadium near cricket practice ground.

The vehicles coming from Ukhrul and Sawombung side shall proceed toward Lilashing Khongnangkhong.

After dropping, the vehicles will proceed toward Dingku road and park on the northern side of the main stadium near cricket practice ground via northern gate .

Dropping area : Lilashing Khongnangkhong.

Parking area : Northern side of the main stadium near cricket practice ground .

The vehicles coming from Tinsid road shall proceed toward Lilashing Khongnangkhong.

After dropping, the vehicles will proceed toward Dingku road and park on the northern side of the main stadium near cricket practice ground via northern gate.

Dropping area : Lilashing Khongnangkhong.

Parking area : Northern side of the main stadium near cricket practice ground.

The vehicles coming from Yairipok and Andro sides shall proceed toward Lamlong bridge and proceed toward Lilashing Khongnangkhong.

After dropping, the vehicles will proceed toward Dingku road and park on the parking slot in front Indoor Stadium via northern gate of Khuman Lampak.

Dropping area : Lilashing Khongnangkhong.

Parking area : In front of Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak.
