Adi Seva Kendras inaugurated in CCpur, Kamjong

CCpur, October 02 2025: To strengthen the implementation of the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan in Manipur's Churachandpur district, the District Administration today inaugurated one Adi Seva Kendra each at M Songgel village under Tuibong block and Elim Veng under Lamka South block.

These dedicated singlewindow citizen service centres are designed to streamline access to welfare schemes and public services for tribal communities.

As part of the launch programme, Special Gram Sabhas were held in both M Songgel and Elim Veng villages, during which the Tribal Village Vision 2030 Declaration was formally adopted.

This declaration sets forth a long-term roadmap for inclusive development, emphasizing participatory governance and community-led planning.

Participants also unanimously endorsed the Village Action Plan (VAP), which had been prepared over the past week by the respective village councils, Block Mission Teams (BMTs), Adi Sathis, Adi Sahyogis, and other key stakeholders.

The VAP identifies critical thematic areas such as Housing for All, Electricity, Water, and Sanitation, among others, with an implementation timeline spanning from 2025 to 2030 .

Under the Adi Sewa Samay initiative, residents will offer voluntary service at the Adi Seva Kendras every Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon, officials confirmed.

The centers would serve as facilitation hubs where residents could apply for, track, and avail benefits under various government programmes, many of which have historically failed to reach the grassroots.

KAMJONG

The Adi Sewa Kendra under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, was officially inaugurated on Sep 29 at Thawai Village, Phungyar Sub-Division, Kamjong District by Shri Rangnamei Rang Peter, Deputy Commissioner, Kamjong.

The launch event witnessed the participation of approximately 100 individuals, including village volunteers, representatives from civil society organizations (CSOs), self-help groups (SHGs), and senior district-level officials.

As part of the program, the United Development of Community Resource Management Society (UDCRMS) team presented the Village Vision 2030 and the Village Action Plan (VAP) to representatives from all concerned line departments.

The presentation outlined strategic development priorities and proposed interventions across key sectors, with an emphasis on participatory and sustainable rural development.

Subsequently, a Transect Walk was conducted within the village, facilitating a joint assessment of the local landscape by government officials and community members.

This exercise aimed to validate the Village Action Plan and ensure alignment between planned interventions and on-ground realities.

The establishment of the Adi Sewa Kendra marks a significant step toward strengthening decentralized governance, improving service delivery, and fostering inclusive development in tribal regions.
