MLA M Rameshwar inspects paver block road construction in Kakching

Kakching, January 31 2026: In continuation of the ongoing road development works in Kakching Assembly Constituency using paver block technology, construction of road stretches at Sekmainingthou Pareng, Lanj ingba Maning Pareng and the LP School Opposite Pareng in Kakching Moirangthem Leikai has commenced.

The project is being undertaken under the initiative of MLA Kakching AC Mayanglambam Rameshwar.

During the inspection of the construction works yesterday, MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar stated that the use of paver block technology aims to modernise Kakching AC roads, ensuring durability and longevity of up to 15 years.

He added that as part of the continuous road construction programme, three road stretches are currently being taken up.

The MLA further said that roads under Kakching AC which were left out earlier, along with other major roads in the constituency, have been targeted for construction before the end of the present term.

Expressing optimism, he said that if circumstances permit and a Government is formed soon, additional road construction works would be taken up more effectively with the support of the concerned departments.

He appealed to the public to extend cooperation and support to ensure the successful implementation of the road development initiatives being carried out in the constituency.
