This book is a compilation of the speeches delivered by the author in the Rajya Sabha during his six years' tenure in the Parliament of India. The matters dwelt on by the author in this book are confined to Special Mentions, Zero Hour Mentions, Starred and Unstarred Questions and their reply by Ministers before the Rajya Sabha, various bills on various subjects Short Durations discussions, Clarifications sought on statements made by Ministers, Presidential proclamation under Article 356 etc. all relating to Manipur. With reference to unstarred question no. 2936 put by Kulabidhu to the Minister of Home Affairs, "(a) Whether the news item appearing in a section of the national press that the NSCN opens office in the USA for a 'Greater Nagaland' outside India, is correct or baseless; (b) If it is correct what meaningful steps have been taken by Government to resolve it", PM Sayeed, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs replied on the 17th August 1994 that Government of India was aware of the reports, developments in that regard were under close watch. There are reports on Kuki-Naga clashes and ethnic violence in Manipur in the year 1993, the security Lapses in Manipur in the same period. There were group clashes in Manipur in the year, 1993 in which more than 100 persons were killed and more then 150 injured just in one afternoon in the Imphal valley. It was reported that an arms smuggler of a particular community was to supply arms to some insurgent group of the other community. This was supposed to be the origin. The whole thing has been given a communal color. Various issues in Manipur are also dealt with.
