Musindra's poems reflect a tone of frustration and loss of hope. Beauty is lost in our earth. The world is full of violence. There is no peace at all. The poem Kupset Segairaba Prithivi writes,
"Now on your lap
the once dance with tender tigers
Where has if lost, where has it gone
Wearing the mask of violence
Taking a bright long sword
On the last day, the day of death
I'll cut into pieces and pieces.''
The poet goes amongst the darkness and searches for light. In the poem entitled Ei Haige Tao, the poet shows the abysmal atmosphere of his birthplace. He could not find any fresh air in his land. Man cheats man and man kills man for survival. So the poet says that he doesn't fear devil but the man. In his view the modern man is like machines and robot which have no feelings and emotions. In the poem Kinthakhraba Sambul, the poet writes the first stanza,
”In the old and weak limbs
attaching the parts of machines
drives and makes them run
so as to be modem man.” Many centuries had passed and many centuries come but war is never ending, writes the poet in the poem Kun Suba Satabdi. See some lines,
"In the last hour of the 20th century
Never moves the air or the leaves
The sky is multi-coloured."
The poet is always anxious for the coming generation. The poet thinks as if he is buried with coffin. He tries hard to lean his neck out but lost all his strength. There is a poem entitled Ganatantragi Laibak written in the prose form which reflects the corrupt politics of our society. The meaning of democracy is lost today.
