The fate of Ophelia
M Prishika *
She ran through the forest,
With madness in her heart,
Drowning herself
In the dark river.
Until her final breath,
The fate of Ophelia.
Ophelia within me,
Is the part of me,
I try not to become.
Ophelia unravels in herself,
And I am the river.
In its darkness,
The Ophelia in me
Becomes still.
