"STAY TOGETHER"

Stay Together

Cupid satellites orbit the love-lorn terrestrials,
Tides rise and fall as the lovermoon calls,
Stars explode into suicidal supernovas,
Desperate lightnings reach out for lonely plains,
Love hungry animals cry and call in jungles,
Moon waits for an eclipse to unite the sun,
Million love signals crawl over this weird, wired world,
Clouds burst and drown us in a sea of loneliness,
On a highway lit by a dream
I journey into stations of lover, loner and loser.

In this twilight hour,
Winap shuffles out the saddest Suede songs,
Hopes and dreams get aborted and rot,
Creatures die beside lovely flowers,
And will you ever know
Someone's dying to stay together with you.
Maybe it's the words you speak, the cheap clothes you wear,
The way you chased that school girl's ghost away.
Maybe it's the way you flirt ,the boys you attract,
And the things they say.
Maybe it's the way our chemestry doesn't react anymore,
And the fact that
Writting hundred more love songs won't bring you back.

Once you smiled and made me a lover,
I went down underground like a loner,
But back where sun shines, i'm just a loser.

Under the throbbing orbs
They went sycho in disco,
I realized you were the one
When i missed you in that sinfull discotheque,
When no ACDsee beauties could console my heart,
When no other problem could eclipse you,
When i repented the moment the aeroplane got airborne,
When i remember you during climaxes,
When i hate everyone who love you,
Remember you promised me
Eyes like moonlit planets,
A future to forget the past
Hours when loneliness give up,
A lover with a life-time guarantee,
A world like in Hollywood screens,
Secrets that you would take to graves.
But you just left me here
To listen to the time-bomb ticking in my heart.
Yet, i feel so close to you
When i scribble your name over and over,
When i walk the roads you walk,
When i let myself prone to your disease,
When i discover you through astrology,
Collapsed in these days of madness,
Wish we could be the
Two hearts beating against each other,
Two hearts speeding on the highway,
Two hearts whispering beside lovely, pink pillows.
But you remain as happy as your smile,
As beautiful as someone i could never get,
As mysterious as the escapades of her non-transfer lipsticks.
And you know time is on your side
when eclipses propose you with diamond rings,
When rain presents you with rainbows,
Heaven and hell competes for you,
Continental shift takes place for you,
Dams explode for you,
Astronomers ditch 'Halley's comet' for you,
Lovers stalk you on highways,
Loners search you in chat-rooms,
Losers commit suicide losing you,
And you get so happy when you could
Spoil their education and lives
Without doing anything at all.

In our history,i was a lover,
To bring you back,
I take the pills like a loner,
But when the intoxication fades off
i'm just a loser.

Rain falls down to remind us how lonely we are,
Yes,i'm as lonely as the widow looking out of the window,
As sad as the noble Kamikaze's lover,
But i'm as true as the tears you once cried with,
As unbiased as an atom-bomb,
In my head you spread like nuclear fissions,
My mind is a devil's work-shop,
A man made mad man,
And i don't care if the sun doesn't come out,
Don't care if the 3rd world war starts,
Don't care if they lip-sync in their Armani hipsters,
Don't care about the volatile activities at the Forex,
Don't care if she and he catch A.I.D.S and die.
But i just wish to the secret burning inside you,
Wish to be the reason why you are happy and sad,
Wish to be the computer you are drowned into,
Wish to romance the lover in you,
Wish i could compete the intellect in you,
Wish we could do the things lovers do,
Wish to be the fantasy you sin with.
These are the sad,sapless,desperate days
While lovers turn poets and killers,
While loners wait for a bigger problem to eclipse the other,
while losers cry seeing their lovers go.
And i just burn when you've found me in him,
Burn when i think of how he makes you forget me,
Burn about the days he would breed with you,
Burn even when road-raging at satanic 98km/hr won't make me
forget you.

With your lies,i'm a lover,
I went dreaming like a loner,
but when i wake up, i'm just a loser.

I'm back where sun would die into Red giant phase,
Where jet-lag brains deceive in boardrooms,
Where she looses to random cyber liers,
Where love penetrates the walls of caste, creed and sex,
Where we once stared at each other and felt as one,
Where, now,i try to find you in strangers,
where my sore in the heart still grows in Mysore,
Where Krishna never married Radha,
Where Mick Jagger sings,
"catch your dreams before it slips away".
Yes, i'm back where you can't live without him.
But you always belong to me
Even if we die with things untold,
Even if we existed in different centuries,
Even if he explores you day and night,
Even if rapists leave you torn and suicidal,
Even if all i could do is write sick, rhymeless lines.
Sister said a lover is one sucker lost in his sappy dream,
Their experiences and words of wisdom
All remind me to kiss the past goodbye.
But you are still the moment a golden goal is scored,
The moment the rockstar shines on the stage,
The moment time-bomb looses its patience,
The moment current flows into the electric-chair,
The moment she wins the Oscar.
And it's still there
While my lover heart wander and wonder at 2:22am,
While my loner, dirty eyes spy her to forget you,
While my loser philosopher starts a new life in poems and songs.
And i'm just losing myself to you,
Losing myself to you,
Losing myself to you......
