Just to See
S. Sovithing *
Just to See God's glory, I stayed humble.
Just to see people's faces light up at the mighty works done through me, I still looked down at the ground.
Just to live in freedom-free from ownership, free from fear-I zipped my mouth.
Just to let peace unite with love, I walked in their shoes.
Just to be the winner, I hid beneath their wings of wisdom.
Just to let them feel the weight of care, I became small- and remained still.
Just to let them continue in joy, I stayed still.
Just to say goodbye, I stayed close by.
Just to mind my struggles, I stayed close by.
Just to be me I waited- patient in grind, praying that I grind the hardest.
Just to make them realise who I am, I stayed strong at my Master's command.
Just to make them smile, I hid my own.
Just to count my years, I let them count 26- still counting, but not for long.
Just to see God's glory, I remind myself of that small, still voice that calls me back.
Just to see god's glory, I stayed humble.
I chose to be less like the world, so I could remain strong and see his glory.
