Greatest Foe
Chongtham Ronikumar *
Teachers are my dearest friends,
Guiding me through all life 's bends.
In every walk, in every sphere ,
Their wisdom whispers , strong and clear.
Yet friends who thrive within my field ,
With skills as sharp as sword and shield -
They rise as foes ,not out of spite,
But to test my claim , to prove my right.
To stand to shine , to wear the name,
Of one who 's earned both skill and fame.
Parents are the first professors ,wise,
While teachers come as second guides.
O charming minds , don't sell the soul
Of learning for a monthly goal.
Don't wait for wages,dull and cold -
Unleash your thoughts ,let truth unfold .
Craft students shaped by your own hands ,
Who rise and thrive ,who take bold stands.
Then salaries, perks , and praise will flow,
Like rivers strong melted from snow .
For like the ocean's steadfast ground ,
You '11 stand when storms are all around.
