TODAY -
Endless conflict
Sorokhaibam Manimatum *
It all begins with the hunger to have what is wanted.
A struggle to grasp the wants of the heart.
Yet still, chaos and turbulence remain.
Nevertheless, people will begin to act
like birds with no home.
The fang of a snake
will swallow the lives of thousands.
But the feeling of envy
will always linger in its hamper.
Yet still, the conflict ticks on -
like grains in a sand clock.
Off, never-ending thee! Off, never-ending thee!
