Ambedkar in Parliamentary ICU
Randhir Thiyam *
Again,
Again,
And again.
They shattered
The face of the
Nation's Constitution Maker
Without shame.
Not stone alone,
They struck-
at respect,
at memory,
at justice.
No apology.
No shame.
Now they wheel Dr. Ambedkar
into the Parliamentary ICU.
They thought --
A hammer could rewrite history,
Destroying and burying
the dignity under dust..
But remember
You can wound a statue.
But cannot silence an idea.
You can scar a monument,
But cannot amputate justice.
No Throne,
No Parliament,
no hammer,
no hatred..
can ever decide our fate.
