A surge of love
Surjit Aribam *
Oh, how graceful and how sweet
Was the vision--that vision of her
That a Ode of love surged up in my heart
And it started to agitate as waves do.
Heart could no longer contain it.
Then like water pouring out of a vessel
It poured out of the vessel of my heart
And fell onto her in sheer abundance.
And in the process she got drenched
Drenched in the shower from my heart.
Surprised and uneasy she seemed
And I was anxious if she'd get angry.
Then aOer some Ome that seemed ages
A little shy smile spread over her face
A smile that sent me soaring to heaven.
