A few days back Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, the RSS Chief was interviewed by the editors of Panchjanya and Organiser (both mouthpieces of the Sangathan ). Almost all the National Dailies andprominent regional papers carry the extracts of the interview with or without commencing.

Responses to the opinions of the Sarsanghchalak are expected from every part ofthe country.

Mohan ji - " for social service, we have Swayamsevak to bring about social transformation, we have Swayamsevak to change the system, we have Swayamsevak for an entire spectrum of works...Swayamsevak will not leave any field untouched ... we have been saying this and today we can see the manifestation of the same. This is progression." For me, the most envious part of RSS is their selfless service to society.

Regarding Mohanji's views on '1000 years of war', LGBTQ, 'Garibaldi', Ram Madav ji has made it quite clear in his article "Bhagwat's Bharat " in the Indian Express. There are certain areas where we can murmur from this comer of the country. Service for the Nation- building has been the motto.

"Even when Swayamsevaks were not in powerful positions, there were people who used to pay heed to the advice of others. There will be such people in the future too. Pranab da was the finance minister in the Congress Government; he was also looking after Nepal Affairs. We used to take our concerns to him. And he would listen to us this."

'Whether in power or not, the Sangh will continue to work for the country and for society, and Mohanji believes that there will be people in power who understand them. Covid -19 has affected not just individuals and families but the entire world. People started talking about a new world order In the days to come, given all the upheavals and changes, where do you see Bharat?

'What role will Bharat have in this new world? What role will Sangh have in that Bharat? He responded, "True, Bharat has emerged in this entire up-heaval. Perhaps, if it was not for the pandemic, we would not have emerged as a bright spot. We are what we are ..."

"The true essence of Bharat, which now people see and recognize. Bharat's presence in the global order is reassuring. That is why people the world over are appreciating us; Russia appreciates us, and so does America. These nations with large economies, and large armies — basically those who do not need to adulate us —, too are lavishing praise on Bharat.

It is all for a simple reason; they see great qualities in India and realize that India is destined to rise. Mohanji was once told that ' when your political wing loses power everyone will run away from you and from the Sangh'. He smiled and said, we had that experience too, but some always stand by the organization. Commitment to nation-building shall always remain with the Sangathan.

While speaking on the occasion of Makar Sankranti , Mohan ji made it very clear to everyone that "if you think that you will get something while serving in the RSS you are wrong; Sangh has nothing to off.; you have to sacrifice everything for the society and for the nation;

if you think that you will be benefited by joining the Sangathan, please don't; if you have something to offer to the society or the nation, you are most welcome but we have nothing to give in return; if you have a selfish motive, please restrain yourself, that is good for us too."

It is a very clear message. Responding to a question about the Muslims, he responded —"The simple truth is this — Hindustan shall remain Hindustan. There is no harm to the Muslims living today in Bharat. If they wish to continue with their faith, they can. If they want to return to the faith of their forefathers they may. It is entirely their choice. "

"We have to ensure that we do not deviate as we complete our journey and keep our essence intact throughout the distance. So, from the point of view of these objectives, the present phase — when our circumstances are the most favorable seems the most difficult. We must wade past this phase. This is our challenge," a very candid response from the RSS chief vis-a-vis the present scenario.

Sangh will complete its hundred years. The whole world will follow this development with keen curiosity. We wish to know whether Sangh has planned something special for it, in terms of activities. Also, will there be a new pledge or a new dimension added to it? —

Mohan ji responded, "You see there have been different phases of Sangh's work. This is the natural progression, which the world perceives as special...... Today Sangh and society share a virtuous strong emotional bond.... The noble power should work in a harmonious complementary relationship in the national interest... we will move ahead.
