MANIPUR has rightly been christened as MANIPUR THE LAND OF JEWELS.

By JEWELS – it doesn't mean only those that glitters shines and that which can be brought off the shelf, but JEWELS encompasses the serene beauty of flora & fauna of the state, the rich culture & heritage of all those residing in different parts of the hills and the valleys, and the enthusiasm to survive with a sense of togetherness and love. In Manipur, the beauty of its women is unique, their calmness and their strength to fight back all odds for the betterment of the society adds up to its beauty.

Manipuri women have always been accorded a high status in every sphere of their life. The Miss Manipur contest goes right back up to 1951 when Oja Indramani first organized Miss Manipur under the theme "health is wealth". It was conducted with the idea of empowering women and giving the young women an opportunity to showcase their talent. Since then it has become one of the biggest/grandest and much awaited event of Manipur.

And taking this tradition forward FOUR HOPES under the aegis of MMC is organizing MISS MANIPUR 2011 with the theme "beauty with compassion and a mission". The main objective of FOUR HOPES is to encourage people to preserve our rich culture, to promote education, spread love & togetherness in whichever way we can.

FOUR HOPES is a family whose members are from different walks of life constituting former beauty queen of Gladrags (Mrs. India), business women, pioneer of modeling academy & retired army officer who are dynamic, full of energy, well-experienced in their own field coming together with a hope to give their share of development towards their society.

FOUR HOPES under the aegis of MMC is organizing the Miss Manipur Pageant to help showcase their beauty and hidden talent of the young women and preserve the coveted title of MISS MANIPUR. The highlight of the event will present the beauty, the colors, and the rhythms of Manipur. FOUR HOPES is a non-profitable and non-political charity organization. Taking such a responsibility calls for your sympathy and co-operation.

We at FOUR HOPES would appreciate the assistance of your good self/office in helping to make the MISS MANIPUR 2011 a grand success.
