Maharaj : Bizando, what are the urgent issues to be handled immediately?
Bizando : Eigya, the most urgent one is the iced-fish mishmash which is now perhaps restored, the next is the Manipur University stir, because the academic career of the students are at stake ; it is almost 2 months now and things are in a standstill ; professors and students are unitedly unhappy and so it is high time to find an amicable and acceptable solution at the earliest . Other important issues like 7th Pay, Flood relief and rehabilitation, Tripartite talks, Border pillars, ILPS, impending Naga accord, prohibition, surging smuggling etc, may be dealt with one after another as per the intensity of pressure.

Maharaj : Bizando , MU is a Central University, I have no legitimate say in their affairs; still I tried to intervene and talk to them, but they are not comfortable with me as they know very well that I am not the Boss. They want the intervention of the Bearded nobleman of the Delhi Darbar.
Bizando : Huzur, since the Big Boss is reticent we may approach Her Excellency for her kind indulgence to give the most feasible advice to the bearded nobleman to find a way out without any further delay; otherwise it will not be not wise on our part to prolong the unrest.

Maharaj : I am told that you went to Indo-Myanmar Border on a drizzling day. What were your findings? Whether it is a fact that the border pillars are moving quite often and the color of the pillars keep changing.
Bizando : Eigya, I come to know that the people at the border are not happy about the boundaries.; they mix around socially, culturally and even matrimonially; they feel that boundaries are not required for them; they eat the same food , they speak the same languages and they genuinely feel that only the authorities from both the sides are troubling them. In a way boundaries are irrelevant for them.

Maharaj : They are great people, there will be world peace if we all think and behave like them. On a practical note had you blackened the white pillars showing our disapproval?
Bizando : Eigya, our boys will do the needful; I love this land and the people. Aadhaar less people are still roaming around at the border. I told them to get at least one Aadhaar each.

Maharaj : Bizando , by the way, have you spoken to the Union Flood Minister to deliver the flood money at the earliest; otherwise it will come to us late.
Bizando : Eigya , normally the flood assistance comes only when there is drought , and draught aid comes when there is flood; it is now almost systematized that the draught money is meant for flood relief and the flood money is used for draught, sorry drought.

Maharaj : Okey Okey, we are getting the assistance that is more important. Only money can deliver goods; we must have the flood money for relief and rehabilitation of the courtiers, unsuccessful candidates, party workers, sympathizers, runners and so on, otherwise it is too difficult to run a big parivar like ours.
Maharaj : what about the Naga imbroglio , are they getting a full and final settlement before the next Lok Sabha election ?
Bizando : Sirji, I have doubts about an early settlement; because election is more important and it is knocking at the door; any silly mistake may cost any number of seats in the NE; Emperor’s Man Friday is expecting 20 out of 25, which is not going to be that easy. Sirji, Man Friday is looking for winnable candidates for every constituency; either you or the Power Mantri may be picked up.

Maharaj : Bizando , I am worried about one thing, some of my key cronies are also uttering the same thing ; and at the same time they are also not very supportive about my ideas and activities; they have reservations about my open audience program with the people.
Bizando : Huzur , I am also uneasy about these mass meetings; we are receiving thousands of complaints and requests from the people ; if we fail to deliver they will lose confidence on us and they may even discredit us in the long run; Vajpaiji had such darbars in the beginning but gradually he withdrew it, as it became almost impossible to comply with every request and redress all grievances.

Maharaj : Bizando, frankly speaking, I want to implement the 7th pay commission recommendations for our employees but you know our handicap; we are struggling even to pay regular salary; if we are not getting any assurance from the Centre it is difficult. The proposition of the Deputy to lift the ‘drinko’ ban and collect huge Excise revenue is still a far cry even though there is consensus among the manufacturers, sellers and importers but there is no unanimity between drinkers and non-drinkers. In fact teetotlers are mean-minded.
Bizando : Eigya, as long as we are unable to give 7th pay the ban on iced – fish may be allowed to continue because people are in a gloomy mood, they don’t feel like eating fish. They simply drink local brew in frustration and anguish; foreign liquor is unaffordable for the common men in a dry state as its price is too exorbitantly high. Only the 7th pay may give them some relief and happiness.

Maharaj : Bizando , don’t induce me, I can declare today itself that the 7th pay is implemented on the same line as the Centre did; I will become a local hero overnight , but that would invite the ire of the Central Bosses.
Bizando : Eigya, please do it, the Emperor will not hang you for this benevolent deed though prodigal. As admonition you may be asked to contest the next Lok Sabha election to be held by the end of this year (my conjecture), maintaining that you are the only strong candidate who can fight both the Doctors (one is PhD in Mathematics and the other one is Homeopathy Dr).
