It is hereby informed to all concerned that, the North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Ministry of Culture, Government of India invites applications from the Local Young Artistes for selection of outstanding Young Talent Artistes Award for the year 2026-2027 from outstanding candidates in the categories of

o Folk & Tribal Music/Song & Dance,
o Theatre,
o Dance,
o Drama,
o Mime,
o Painting,
o Wood,
o Cane and Bamboo Craft,
o Traditional Handloom and Handicrafts,
o Pottery, etc.

Young Artistes/artisans in the age group of 18 to 30 years (as on 31st March 2026) are eligible to apply for the award.

The award consists of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) only, Citation and Memento.

Candidates should be an Indian Citizen and an Indigenous people of Manipur.

Candidates who have received any such Awards (State/National) earlier in the same field are not eligible for the Scheme.

Deserving artistes/artisans may collect the Application Form from the
Office of the Directorate of Art & Culture, Manipur
w.e.f from 4th August 2026
or may download the form from NEZCC website

Duly filled up Form should be submitted to the Directorate of Art & Culture, Manipur
on or before 4:00 p.m. of 18th August 2026.

Screening of the applicants/candidates will be started from on 24th August 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
