Traffic Advisory : Durand Cup 2026

In view of the Durand Cup matches scheduled on 28th, 30th July 2026, 3rd, 5th, 9th and 12th August 2026 at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium, and the expected presence of VVIPs, government dignitaries and a large public turnout, the general public is requested to kindly adhere to the following traffic arrangements for smooth vehicular and crowd movement:

ENTRY / EXIT GATES FOR GENERAL PUBLIC
o Gate No. 2 (Indoor Stadium Side) / Gate No. 5 (9-IRB Gate): For public vehicles parking inside the campus (till the parking space is available)

o Gate No. 3 (Hockey Stadium Gate) / Gate No. 4 (Rugby Ground Gate): For pedestrians only

GENERAL PUBLIC ARE NOT TO USE THESE RESTRICTED GATES

o HUDCO Gate
o Gate 1 (Western Gate)

GENERAL PUBLIC PARKING AREAS

Parking is first-come, first-served at the following locations:

Inside Khuman Lampak Sports Complex
o Near Indoor Stadium
o Swimming Pool Junction & Kang Sang Point

Outside Khuman Lampak Sports Complex
o RAU Ground
o ISBT Campus

Note: Once parking is full inside the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, entry of vehicles will be restricted. Public is advised to follow on-ground instructions.

ROAD CLOSURE

The road from Pandon Crossing to MMTA Banyan Tree Crossing will be closed for general traffic during match times.

TRAFFIC DIVERSION

o In case of congestion, vehicles may be diverted from Minuthong Junction to Lamlong Thong and Sanjenthong routes, as and when required based on traffic situation and operational needs.

o Heavy vehicles will be restricted / diverted at Sangakpam Crossing, Lamlong Thong, Singjamei, Kwakeithel, Keishampat Junction, Uripok Canteen Crossing, Khonang Ani Karak.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR PUBLIC

o Gates to the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex open at 01:00 PM on 28th July, 2026. Spectators are strongly advised to arrive early to avoid last-minute rush and ensure hassle-free entry.

o Prefer walking or using two-wheelers to the main venue to avoid congestion. Public parking is limited inside the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.

o Avoid roadside parking - Vehicles parked along roads may be towed or penalized.

o Follow traffic police instructions at all points.

o Cooperate with security and parking staff for crowd and vehicle management.
