Whispers of the Tarangmalangpal
Nishikanta Sagolsem *
Langdaidaba malangpal! Where sky and earth entwine,
I pose my queries, to your design.
Burning flames of Korou, paints the sky with gold,
But sets slowly, leaving me, with questions yet untold.
So convey the feeling I, "Numiti asum tasinlakhi !"
With a tone so low.
Thawaimichak ! Like diamonds in the evening's veil,
The answers I seek, remain elusive, without fail.
Malangba whispers secrets, in a language I've yet to learn,
Leaving me with more questions, and a heart that yearns.
This Malangpal promises me, a new dawn's light.
But fades into darkness, without a glimpse of what's in sight.
“Tarangpal oirabarane asibu?” I ask so low.
Though the answers may not come, I'll continue to seek,
For in the seeking, I find, a piece of myself,
Becoming one with this Tarangmalangpal.
