The Voices of Innocence
Adison Moirangthem *
The World must reject the use of child and wife,
As tools of war in conflicts born of spite.
Such acts defile the sacredness of life,
And dim the glow of civilization’s light.
The Kuki arms embrace a ruthless path,
Unseen in human history's early lore,
Where honor guided battles' heated wrath,
And children knew not hostage, fear, or war.
To seize the young and hold them as a pawn,
Is cruel and vile, a most barbaric sin.
This act betrays what makes us truly dawn,
The human heart, where compassion begins.
Let dignity and peace, not violence, reign,
And free the innocent from the unjust chain.
